I am so excited to be sharing Grideldas and Pablo‘s Austin engagement session at Mt. Bonnell and the Texas Capitol Building with you today!! These two were absolutely fantastic – I swear, I have the most amazing couples! We started their session off at Mt Bonnell, one of my new favorite locations for an engagement session. Unfortunately, the day was a little gloomy and drizzling. But, we made the best of it!

We both arrived and took a little walk up the stairs, which was a workout in itself, haha. When we made it at the top of the stairs the views took our breaths away (well along with the climb but we won’t talk about that). I know that this location is very popular for engagements and weddings during the afternoon. We had the advantage of having some cloud cover to help diffuse the sunlight and get those amazing shots of the view. You can tell that Pablo and Griselda are meant for each other. Their chemistry is almost palpable.

We finished this Austin engagement session at the Texas Capitol Building. The variety that the capitol building gives to an engagement session, you would think we went to three different locations in one! That’s not counting the great opportunity to use the streets of Downtown Austin.

HOW PABLO PROPOSED

Pablo and Griselda met at the Texas State University in 2014! They both said it was love at first sight, and they have been so inseparable since. Going on their 2024 wedding they both enjoy a great movie night and hanging out with their fur child. I mean who can blame them right?

Pablo went all out for their proposal. He decided to do it on their 8th anniversary. Very cleverly, he arranged a fancy lunch and made sure that Griselda was dressed to the nines. They went to the Sekrit theater where Pablo got help from a coordinator to decorate with Marquee letters that say Marry Me, roses, candles, and champagne waiting for them. It was perfect for them to finally get to enjoy life together are Mr. and Mrs. Rodriguez. Pablo and Griselda will be tying the knot next fall at The Arlo, one of the newest modern venues in the Hill Country! It’s a beautiful white modern venue with so many options for a classic and timeless wedding nestled in the Texas Hill country of Austin, TX. I am so excited to celebrate with them this year! Congratulations to the future Mr. and Mrs. Rodriguez!! ?
