I am so excited to be sharing a little glimpse into Katie and Carlos’ summer loving wedding at The Pinnacle Venue!! The perfect East Texas Wedding. It was such a wonderful day celebrating the love of these two. Aside from the extreme July heat in Texas, the day was one for the books! Fun fact: Katie is my high school best friends and truthfully I cannot imagine going through those years without her. When Katie got engaged there was only one person she contacted about her photos. Once we became friends I am overjoyed to finally be sharing their wedding day highlights on the blog. It was such an honor to capture this sweet day!

I started their day off by photographing their bridal details. If you’ve read any of my other wedding blogs, you know details are one of my favorites of a wedding day! I love to take my time designing and putting together all of the details that make up your bridal look. You can tell how much support Katie and Carlos with how much help they had to get things ready during the morning.

Katie and Carlos shared an intimate ceremony surrounded by their closest family and friends. The look in Carlos’ face when Katie walked down the aisle was the sweetest moment. By far, one of my favorite moments is when Katie pranked Carlos with the help of the DJ. He played ‘Gold digger’ by Kenye West and Carlos’ reaction was priceless. Katie did it again when she put on a show when it was time to exchange rings. Truly a wedding that made a statement of who they both are, and their love. As a surprise Katie dedicated an amazing performance of ‘At last’ by Etta James.

Rain came to bless their marriage, and we took advantage of the weather while we made some art. Just remember to go with the flow with everything that comes with your day. At times you will find your favorite photos come from that. That’s the epitome of an East Texas Wedding.

They both danced the night away with all of their guests! It was definitely a party. Everyone had SO much fun with these two! And, it wouldn’t be true party without an epic bubble exit!!
