A Coastal Wedding Editorial at Frente al Punto in Sayulita

Set against the lush, oceanfront backdrop of Frente al Punto, this editorial was designed to feel immersive, vibrant, and deeply intentional for a destination wedding in Mexico.

Rather than replicating a traditional wedding day, this styled shoot was created as a visual exploration of what a destination celebration in Sayulita could look and feel like when color, texture, and environment are in complete harmony.

Every element was approached with the intention of creating a space that felt alive. Layered, expressive, and rooted in experience.

This editorial has been featured on Wedding Chicks, a leading publication known for showcasing elevated and design-forward weddings.

THE DESIGN & COLOR STORY

The design leaned into bold, saturated color paired with organic movement. Lush floral installations framed the couple in a way that felt both sculptural and effortless, allowing the setting to feel curated without losing its natural rhythm.

In collaboration with Florística PV, the floral direction embraced vibrant pinks, citrus tones, and layered greens, creating a striking contrast against the coastal landscape.

Structured elements from The Wedding Mexico Rentals and Emotions Deco & Rentals grounded the design, while still allowing each piece to feel intentional and elevated.

The intentional layering of color and form within this editorial reflects the type of design-forward storytelling often highlighted in publications like Wedding Chicks.

PHOTOGRAPHY APPROACH

As both photographer and part of the creative direction alongside Emma Mullins Photography, my goal was to approach this editorial with the same care and awareness as a real wedding day.

Focusing not just on the design, but on the feeling within it. The way light filtered through the palms, the quiet stillness between movement, and the connection that brought the entire vision to life.

Even within a styled environment, the intention remained the same. To create imagery that feels lived in, timeless, and emotionally grounded.

THE TEAM

This editorial came to life through a collective of creatives who each brought a distinct layer to the overall vision.

The beauty direction by Aurora Spinola softened the look while maintaining a polished, destination-ready finish.

Stationery by Wild Rose Stationery introduced delicate, refined details that complemented the boldness of the overall design.

Jewelry from Plum Diamonds and fashion selections including gowns by Hayley Paige Bridal and Mignonette Bridal added a layer of elegance that balanced the vibrancy of the setting.

The cake by Postres Alba and live music by Mariachi Oliveros brought in elements of celebration and culture, grounding the editorial in its destination.

Greta Milkovic and Jairo Zenteno carried the vision effortlessly, bringing a sense of connection and movement that made each frame feel natural and immersive.
