A Love Story Years in the Making

Kayde and Hunter’s journey is truly one for the books. They first connected in high school when Hunter was best friends with Kayde’s brother. Without dates to Winter Formal, they went as friends. What started as a simple night quickly blossomed into something extraordinary—they became inseparable.

Their proposal was full of magic and heart. Kayde’s mom had planned what she thought was a “family photoshoot” at the Dallas Arboretum. When rain forced a change of plans, dinner at Watters Creek became the perfect backup. As Kayde walked toward the Cheesecake Factory, she spotted Hunter sitting by the waterfall—the moment was unforgettable, and the rest is history. Fast forward to today, and they are blissfully in love, having celebrated their wedding at One Preston Events on May 23, 2025.

Kayde and Hunter are the sweetest, most animated couple, and their energy made their engagement session at Flippen Park a joy to photograph. Hunter even shared one of the best compliments a photographer could hear: he loved taking photos with me because I didn’t make it awkward. Their laughter and comfort with each other brought out natural, vibrant moments that truly reflect their personalities.
